THE WALKTHROUGH

PRISON

After the uber awesome intro of Claire kicking some ass, and then of her getting freed by Rodrigo, walk into the cell again and get the herb. There’s a small red box outside too, it’s handgun ammo for the handgun when you get it later. Oh yeah and there’s also a knife on the table. Head out of the door, and get the ink ribbon off the table. Don't use it yet. Head up the stairs and out into the cemetery. After the scene kill the zombies or just try to get past them. Avoid the burning one inparticular. Go around them or just kill them, whatever. They always reappear anyway, remember that. Go through the doors and then watch the scene. Meet the incredibly annoying Steve, get your handgun, and go through the door opposite of the one you just came in through.

COURTYARD

Run down and then up the stairs and along to get the green herb. Go through the door and kill all the zombies. Go through the door and look around for ammo and also find a prisoner’s diary. Check the showers for ammo. Go along and you’ll find a new weapon on the ground, which is extremely powerful but has limited ammo, so use it wisely. A cutscene will occur and a zombie will come crashing through the window. Kill all the zombies that appear and then get the hell out of there. Go back out and find the map on the wall and the herbs. Head out and down the stairs and see a scene of something underneath about to come out and kill your ass – if you’re not careful that is. Nothing much happens right now. Go all the way along the side of the house and see a zombie being dragged underneath.. umm, keep going and head through the door to the prison area. Kill the zombies and then head through the next door. Deposit all your metal items (lighter included) in here and head inside. Go through the door to the side as you come into this new area. Get the document on the table as you come in and you’ll hear typing. Run forwards for a scene with Steve. Once it’s over, pull the lever on the wall to the side of you and open the drawer beside the computer to get the gold emblem. Backtrack to that last room. Use the emblem on the machine in the corner of the room. Leave this whole area but don’t forget to get those items you deposited. Open the shutters once you get outside (they’ll be open now) and kill the zombies. Run inside and get the fire extinguisher and backtrack all the way back to the cemetery with the zombies you first encountered. Notice the fire surrounding the metal briefcase here. Use the extinguisher to put it out and obtain the TG 101. Go back to the emblem place and use the TG 101 on the machine to copy the emblem. Now you have an exact copy of the emblem, go back to the area where you first met Steve and got the handgun. There should be about three to four zombies roaming the area now, but try to avoid them. Walk up to those large double doors and use the emblem. Once inside run up and use the runway thing to the left of you as you can’t go any further as there’s a car blocking your way. Then get the ammo from inside the car and push the box up to the other boxes so you can get across to the stairs. Ascend the stairs and kill all the zombies in this area. Run north and up the stairs. Go along and notice the green flashing thing. Pick it up. Then go up the stairs in the middle of the area and enter.

PALACE

Head up the stairs and turn right. Enter the room and you’ll find a typewriter and item chest. Go along to where the shelf thing is and push it forwards to get the Umbrella card. Check the back to see the number, remember it. Get the herb in the corner of this area. Save your game here. Go out and back down the stairs to where the computer is. Use the code from the back of the card to open the door to the left of where you are. Go through the door, kill the zombies here and go North into the room. There is an ant on the wall with a button just beneath it. Press the button to see a short scene of Alexia and Alfred. Get the wheel from inside the secret room and leave the palace. When you try to leave you’ll hear Steve calling for help. Go back to the room where you just watched the video and press the C and E buttons to release Steve. After the scene, try to leave the Palace again and have a scene with Alfred. Then you can finally leave. Go along and down the stairs. Under the stairs you’ll find some ammo and a map. Take both and then go along and use the wheel. Enter the submarine.

AIRPORT

Get the pack behind you and then use the lever. Climb the ladder and ascend the stairs. Enter the next room and take the door on your right. Go along the bridge and then use the small elevator in this area. Use the lever to grab the large box and lift it up. Once you’ve done this, go down to the area where the box was and use the lever. Kill the zombies that appear and get the bow gun arrows and Biohazard card. Back along the bridge to the area with the fish tank. Use the door on the left this time. Use the green thing you got just outside of the palace and slot it into place. Leave the Airport and head back to the Palace area.

MILITARY TRAINING FACILITY

Now backtrack to the place where you first came up those stairs, just outside the Palace area. Turn and you’ll see double doors and a smaller door. Go through the smaller door and avoid the worm in here. Go through the double doors just past the worm. Run North into the room with all the lockers and kill the zombies here, then get the items out of the lockers which doors are slightly ajar. Run down and you’ll find another door. Kill the zombies out here and turn the wheel to receive a small key. Head back to the main area outside the locker room and go through the other door here. Kill the zombies, get the map from the computer and go into the next room in here and use the key you just got to get some explosive arrows which you shouldn’t use for now. Put them back in the box at the palace. But for now hit the switch in this room and then go back out to the corridor.
