hi i really need help defeating the erth demon i dont get how u push the towers HELP

When he digs under ground, he should go near the pole and rest for a while.You should then go near the pole and push it.But sometimes when he digs under ground , he dosn't go near a pole!

Make him go underground so he knocks himself out on the wall then go over to the pillar and knock it on top of him.
