i have just finished that part..there is no particular way just stand at the edge of the inclining slope and rev roll..you will have to do it at angles and with the jump key you have to position yourself some where along the middle or to the two extremes..from then on rev rolling and jumping to continue the roll to get the green fruit and the extra life at the highest point...Keep trying you will get it eventually..
